Rev1 Energy (“Rev1 Energy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This SMS Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you exchange text messages with us, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have.

1. Scope

This policy applies to SMS/MMS text messaging between Rev1 Energy and individuals in our candidate and employee database, including messages sent from our business number (813) 657-2404.

2. Why we text you

We text for a single, narrow purpose: to keep your record in our database accurate so we can match you with applicable job opportunities and communicate with you efficiently. That includes confirming contact details, availability, certifications, and work preferences; requesting an updated resume; notifying you of relevant openings; and coordinating scheduling and follow-up.

We do not send unsolicited advertising, promotional campaigns, or spam.

3. Information we collect

  • Mobile number and contact details — your mobile phone number, name, and any email address you provide.
  • Consent records — the fact of your opt-in, the method and source of consent, timestamps, and any subsequent opt-out.
  • Message content and metadata — the content of messages you exchange with us, along with delivery status, dates, and times.
  • Information you choose to send us — for example, availability, certifications, location preferences, or an attached or emailed resume.

We collect this information directly from you, from your prior application or employment records with Rev1 Energy, or from a form or document in which you provided your number. We do not purchase mobile numbers or opt-in data.

4. How we use your information

  • To update and maintain your record in our internal database
  • To identify and share job opportunities that fit your background and availability
  • To coordinate interviews, assignments, onboarding, and related logistics
  • To respond to your questions and provide support
  • To honor your opt-out requests and maintain compliance records

We do not use text messaging data for advertising, profiling for advertising, or any purpose unrelated to recruiting and employment communication.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or mobile information.

We do not share mobile contact information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your text messaging opt-in data and consent records stay strictly within Rev1 Energy. The only outside parties with technical access are the service providers that transmit our messages and host our systems on our behalf (for example, our SMS carrier and platform providers). Those providers act solely under our instruction, are limited to delivering and supporting the service, and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

6. Opting out

Reply STOP to any message from us to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts from this program. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at (813) 657-2404 or info@rev1.co.

Opting out of text messaging does not remove you from our candidate or employee database and does not affect your employment or application status. To request removal from our database, contact us using the details below.

7. Data security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including encryption of data in transit, access controls limiting access to authorized personnel with a business need, and monitoring of our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.

8. Data retention and deletion

We retain your mobile number, consent records, and message history for as long as you remain an active candidate or employee contact, and thereafter only as long as needed for legitimate business, recordkeeping, and legal or regulatory compliance purposes. Opt-out records are retained indefinitely so we can continue to honor your request. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting us at info@rev1.co.

9. Children

Our text messaging program is intended for adults seeking or holding employment. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this SMS Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates take effect when posted with a revised “Last updated” date.
